Either a really determined troll; or, just like the date of September 29, the fandom has just decided to wholeheartedly back random fan speculation.

Messy.

What you have to remember is the HP fandom were sorta the leaders in internet fandom so the big sites weren’t there yet. So at first the fandom was spread out over hundreds of sites and (embarrassingly) yahoo! groups…

And the spread results in a different type of war. Now if a fight breaks out the angers gets isolated to one, maybe 2, sites. But in the early 2000s you’d take your anger and debate to all your other sites; and a bigger radius resulted in bigger fights.

And the popular HP chatrooms uses to go weeks being solely dedicated to shipping wars and those got really dark, violent and personal.

 But the HP fandom has some great debacles transcribed on sites… from the lexicon/steve vander ark debacle to the really old shit like Cassandra Claire (actually I posted about HP wars because I was reading this - which I didn’t experience because I came to Fanfic.net 2 years after this shit went down :P)

If you look hard enough you can see loads of examples of fans behaving badly or even copyright holders behaving badly in some cases.

I would say it depend on the roles.

I’m not very well versed in the Teen Titans but base on the shorts that released- probably not in the beginning.

It’s possible but DC only has an hour long time slot so it has a limited number of shows it can produce at a given time.

Well the Wonder-family is always hard to work with in TV shows apparently.

I heard somewhere that Greg and Brandon originally wanted Donna but they couldn’t get her so they settled on Cassie… I don’t know if that’s true or not though.

In my head Donna is older than Caddie, and has already trained with Wonder Woman for a while, she just hasn’t left home yet… but who knows there are a few unknown team members so we still have a chance of her being there!
